Role Details
We are currently seeking a full-time Vice President of Operations interested injoining a high-growth stage startup. The mandate of the VP of Operations issimple but challenging: help build out our operations and play a key role inexpanding across the US. Above all, the successful candidate is aself-starter who is resourceful, organized, detail-oriented, communicative, andfriendly
Experience building operations arm of a tech services company . You have builtteams that have sold and delivered PaaS and SaaS solutions in the financial andaccounting space . You understand the worl of automation and understand what itmeans to manage and run professional and tech services teams. You have experience directly related to a broad set of initiatives including, forexample, doing tech implementation across multiple financial planning andaccounting functions of client; reporting on client KPIs during key systemsintegration programs ; Hiring and building a technology; team including full stackengineers; managing teams that have delivered large scale tech projects;experience in customer success and client relationship management, recruiting and building teams of dev ops and systems architects and managing C suite ofcustomers in the Financial Planning and accounting space careerdevelopment.You are a self-starter that enjoys the autonomy to act onopportunities when you see them. You have a passion for tech innovation andprocess rigor disruption. You have built and maintained relationships acrosspartners in the billing , tech services, ERP implementation and API developmentplatform and teams. As a leader of the Operations team, you will be responsible for a cross-functionalteam that owns and executes initiatives across the organization. Operations Team
Ongoing business operations across tech stack
Lead the team responsible for day to day business operations, complianceand continuous process improvements across the organization
External IT initiatives and full scale implementation projects
Operationally systemize and execute new initiatives
Lead cross-functional undertakings (ex. Opening a new market, supportingother teams expansion).
Cross functional process optimization
Creating and continuously optimizing internal processes and routines (ex.Product/Engineering, or Onboarding of new Customers).
Enable partners to be successful in ongoing operations (exampleintegrations build, sales support, product implementation support etc)
Customer success and IT implementation.
Responsible for successful platform implementation for large Enterprise customers.
Accountable for on-time delivery to customers for complex onboardinginitiatives in collaboration with product and engineering teams.
Customer Success.
Customer onboarding projects that are deep tech driven and ongoingrelationship management with both the tech teams and finance department.
Support & Help Center.
Customer Health monitoring.
Data Analytics.
Continue to build out our data analytics service offering
Provide visibility and data insights to our customers as well as the companyinternally
You collaborate the closest with:
Chief of Staff (will frequently require Ops to execute leadership initiatives)
Business Development (will frequently require Ops help to execute)
Product (research, analysis, projects around new opportunities)
Operations Staff (you will be leading a growing team of operations directorsand managers)
10+ years of progressively responsible IT operational managementexperience, IT tech implementation across ERPs doing business andfunctional implementations, leading Automation in the account payables,supply chain or account payables space, data analysis, reporting, andplanning
Exceptional leadership skills, including the ability to implement change.
Proven success in building and scaling IT teams, customer service andsupport  centers  and systems.
Superior project and change management skills.
Strong balance of problem-solving, decision-making, creative and analyticalskills, with the demonstrated ability to successfully drive both strategy and execution.
Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage complex projectsand geographically dispersed teams.
